Featured Item of Awesomeness: Treasured Hawai'i Shell Necklace

Today's blog post is about the Treasured Hawai'i Shell Necklace. This necklace is totally one of a kind. Remember in yesterdays post when I talked about how I love collecting broken shells because of the different abstract design that nature creates? Well, the shell displayed on this necklace is a perfect example of what I was talking about!

I'm not quite sure what kind of shell it was. Possibly some kind of cone shell. If any of my readers would like to take a guess that would be awesome!

When I found this shell on the beach on O'ahu, it came with a hole on the top, and two on the sides so that you could see through it. It sat for a while on my workbench staring at me, taunting me to come up with something awesome to create with it. Finally, it dawned on me one day, could have been that I just got done watching a pirates show but that's besides the point, I needed to incorporate stones with it and have it be the central focus on a necklace.

If you look closely at the piece there are not only aquamarine stones making up part of the chain but there are also aquamarines hanging on the inside of the shell. Which makes for hidden treasure! Well, hidden enough treasure!

Today only it's 10% off! Use code T7THSN at checkout!

Mahalo for reading!

Aloha!
