Today was a VERY eventful and productive day! Days like today make me happy to be an artist.
I finished and faxed in my application for the art walk. I hate telling people these kinds of things 'cause I feel like I'm going to jinx them. But, I feel like I need to start letting those jinxing feelings go and let my friends cheer me one and wish me good luck! 'Cause when you're an artist you can use all the luck you can get! Plus, I really do love sharing the new, exciting, and sometimes nerve racking things that are happening in my life.
I got to spend time with a wonderful friend taking photos for our online stores of our jewelry. She makes some sweet things!
Later on in the day after some shopping at the local art store for some fun new canvas I decided to see how my big cartel shop was doin. So, I logged in to look at my stats. For some reason, unknown to me know, my shop was getting lots and lots of lookers! I wish I knew why I was getting so many views during that time of the day! I would have loved to know if someone mentioned me in a blog or if a friend mentioned me to their friends. I suppose the mystery is part of the fun!
After that excitement, I did some online shopping for some jewelry supplies! I can't wait to get them and make more things for you all to see! Oh, and while I was at said local art store today I had an epiphany for something new to put in the store! You'll just have to wait in anticipation for me to reveal what it is!
